Duct Retrofit Planning
Duration: Planning document within seven business days
Location: Designed for your site — installation by your HVAC contractor
When rooms fight back
Low ceilings, shared residential walls, and L-shaped rooms often need duct transitions that manufacturer rack diagrams ignore. This service produces a planning packet your sheet-metal shop or HVAC installer can execute: inlet sizes, elbow counts, recommended fan curves, and baffle positions to stop exhaust folding into intake.
Prerequisites
Either a completed corridor baseline survey or a placement review from our team. We do not design duct retrofits from photos alone.
Deliverables
- Isometric sketch with dimensions
- Fan duty point table (CFM vs static pressure)
- Material notes for corrosion-resistant liners if humidity is high
- Expected noise delta at the property line after retrofit
Exclusions
Fabrication, installation, permits, and fire-code sign-off stay with licensed trades in your municipality.
